What data is collected

This archive collects the following categories of personal data:

• Contact form submissions: Name, telephone number, and email address submitted voluntarily through the contact form on the About page. This data is used solely to respond to the inquiry and is not retained beyond 12 months.
• Server logs: IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamp recorded automatically by the web server. Logs are retained for 30 days for security and diagnostic purposes.
• Cookie consent preference: A single cookie named wh_cookie_consent is stored in the browser to remember whether the visitor accepted or rejected the cookie notice. This cookie contains no personal identifiers.

Cookies

Westhollow uses one first-party cookie:

• wh_cookie_consent — Stores the visitor's Accept or Reject choice on the cookie banner. Duration: 365 days. Contains the string "accepted" or "rejected" only. No third-party cookies are placed by this archive.

Legal basis for processing

Contact form data is processed on the basis of the visitor's explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) given at the time of submission. Server log data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) for security and operational purposes.

Data sharing

Personal data submitted through this archive is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties. Server logs are stored on hosting infrastructure operated under a data processing agreement compliant with GDPR requirements.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact contact@westhollow.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) at dataprotection.ro.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are deleted after 12 months or upon request. Server logs are deleted after 30 days. Cookie preference data expires automatically after 365 days.

Material changes to this policy will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the archive after a policy update constitutes acknowledgement of the revised terms.
